Slaves Of Fear è la canzone numero 4 e non è la tipica canzone all'Amon Amarth.
Queste le dichiarazioni del batterista Fredik Andersson:"It was one of the last songs we finished for the album and I think it adds some diversity by being a bit different"
"What makes this song a little bit different I think is the collaboration between me and Olavi as song writers, usually most songs are written by Olavi/Johan S. It's definitely one of the darkest songs we've ever written and the main/intro riff is my personal tribute to the passing of Ronnie James Dio as the riff came to me after listening to "Holy Diver". Lyrically it's about how religions keeps people under its control and keeps people from thinking for themselves. One of the most angry lyrics Johan has written and they kind of reminds me of "The sound of eight hooves" in a way. It works exceptionally well with the melancholic feel of the riffs."

Beliver:La heavy metal band Believer ha finito le registrazioni per il loro prossimo album.
Questo il loro nuovo update:"We're pleased to announce that mixing and mastering for the upcoming album is complete. We decided early on in project that we wanted an outside person to mix the record so we could spend more time writing and recording. Kevin Leaman (BELIEVER guitarist) recommended Kevin Gutierrez from Assembly Line Studios for mixing this record. Leaman had worked with Gutierrez previously and said that he was really easy to work with. From the first telephone conversation it was clear that Gutierrez understood exactly what we were looking for sonically and he seemed really interested in helping us achieve that.
We let Kevin know we wanted this album to sound very musical; not just be heavy. We wanted to use the whole frequency range and not have all the mids scooped out so that everything going on in the tunes was audible. Most importantly, we wanted to keep the dynamics. We were a little nervous about not being there physically for the mix, but we spent so much time tweaking in the sounds for tracking that we were confident he had good stuff to work with. The rough mixes we made for ourselves already sounded pretty decent.
Kevin was fast and efficient. He'd send us reference mixes as he completed each song and we'd be emailing/texting comments back and forth at all hours of the day and night. He was very responsive to our change requests and was really helpful in setting up the mastering session and communicating what we wanted to Maor Appelbaum of Maor Appelbaum Mastering.
Maor also understood what we were trying to achieve with the dynamics and the overall listening experience we wanted to create on this album.
Sonically we're extremely happy with this album and can't wait for other people to hear it. We feel like this is a really strong and unique album in the BELIEVER catalog and it's something we're definitely proud of.
So what will you hear? As we mentioned, we focused more on the overall musicality which included more instrumental layers than we used before. The vocals were also more of a focus as we have had much feedback throughout the years, specifically to get out of the one dimensional realm. Kurt wanted the vocals to be more complimentary to the overall tune feel, so he used many facets of his vocal abilities. As with all Believer albums, this one is definitely unique."

"For a Nihilist, nothing is at least something. 2011 is GOD DETHRONED´s final year in existence.
We could have spent another year in a tourbus because the amount of offers was endless, but I just don't feel like touring anymore. People told me to take a break for a year or maybe two, but as I'm an "all, or nothing at all" type of person, I decided to call it quits. Not immediately, but in December of this year we will definitely play our last show. That's gonna be at the Eindhoven Metal Meeting in Holland. I'm very proud of what we achieved with the band, but the time has come for new challenges. I would like to thank all of our fans for their support for all these years."

La band è recentemente entrata nei Mana Recording Studio di Erik Rutan per registrare il quinto album.
J.J. Hrubovcak è stato aggiunto alla line up della band come bassista, il gruppo è formato da Erik Rutan alla voce e chitarre e Jade Simonetto alla batteria.
Questo il commento di Erik Rutan:"The band has been locked up in Mana Recording Studios doing pre-production for the past two months, finishing up songs that we have been writing over the last year in between tours and albums that I've produced, and we feel we have come up with one of HATE ETERNAL's heaviest, most twisted, evil, melodic, and insane albums yet.
"It was my goal to expand upon what the band has done in the past, and add new dynamics and twists to the traditional, dissonant HATE ETERNAL style, yet keep it in the same vein. It took the three of us really pushing ourselves, and digging deep into the essence of who we are as musicians and writers and players to create something very unique and special. We cannot wait for everyone to hear what we have in store."

Vietcong Pornsürfers firmano con Street Symphonies Records
La rock'n'roll band svedese Vietcong Pornsürfers ha firmato un contratto con Street Symphonies Records per la pubblicazione del debut album “Restless, Young, Hungry And Free”, già stampato dal gruppo sotto forma di autoproduzione in musicassetta nel novembre del 2010. La nuova versione in cd conterrà tutte le otto tracce originali più due demo song, “Cunts Don't Play Guitar” e “Spanish Rose”, ed il videoclip di “Don't Need Your Lies”. L'uscita è prevista attorno a fine aprile.
I Vietcong Pornsürfers (VCPS) sono una giovanissima band originaria di Falun, Svezia, composta da Tom K, W. Affe, Rackarn e Teddy, tutti poco più che maggiorenni. Seppur di recente formazione, il gruppo ha tenuto oltre 70 concerti, alcuni assieme a band svedesi già note come Babylon Bombs, Vains Of Jenna e Sister Sin, altri oltre i confini nazionali e per il 2011 sta pianificando un tour europeo. Il loro è un rock'n'roll energico e in your face, equamente influenzato dal punk e dallo sleaze ultimamente tanto in voga in Svezia.
